An explanation of

Hookah diving

and

Discover Scuba...

Hookah is still the way the commercial divers prefer to dive whenever possible.  This form of diving was around long before Scuba.  For our purposes, it's air pumped from compressors, through 60 foot long hoses.  There is a constant supply of air to you than gives you much more time under water than some Hookah systems which use tanks instead of compressors.

Typically, you will have up to a full 120 minutes (2 hours) of in-the-water Hookah time. You can come back to the boat and go back out as often as you like, at anytime you like.  Also, most of your energy and concentration will not be used fighting a current to get back to the boat.  You don't have to be a strong swimmer, or even a good swimmer.

All your underwater energy can be spent watching the coral, fish and critters and enjoying the thrill of what diving really feels like without a struggle.  A good captain will move the boat so you can see new areas and so that you don't have to work hard.

The crew will fully assist you during your entire Hookah experience as you need it.  Hookah methods will allow you to have the freedom to move around and go where you want to go, and see what interests you, at your own pace, as you wish.  Best boats use up-to-date air compressor equipment and have great success with introducing people who aren't certified, to diving.  This let's you get a true idea of what diving is like your very first time, without struggling with BCD flotation and tanks, as in scuba.  You just feel like you are flying underwater, but able to breathe.

This method has been used for more than ten years to allow people to get a true diving experience in a safe, fun manner. It's easier than snorkeling. You never get water in your mouth, whether you are floating on the surface, totally relaxed, or slowly swimming just above the coral heads, or down to the sandy sea floor.

No certification is necessary!!!

The beauty is, you get to do whichever you choose, whether it's snorkeling, hookah, or scuba, in one of the most fantastic, amazing undersea reef systems on our planet! All these options can be done aboard glass bottom boats, where you can get the combined pleasure of viewing the sea bottom while still in the boat, and then getting in the water, (if you wish), for even more fun.
